Minced Chicken Miso Soup with Ginger

Ginger adds a piquant taste to mild miso soup.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Minced chicken 200 g
Grated ginger 2 g
Broccoli sprouts Several
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Boil the minced chicken in the dashi stock for 2 ~ 3 minutes while stirring the soup.
  2. Skim off the scum. Lower the heat and dissolve the miso.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the broccoli sprouts and grated ginger on top.

★ A Note

Instead of broccoli sprouts, you can use different sprouts, such as white radish (kaiwaredaikon), mustard and buckwheat (soba).
