Onion and Broccoli Western-style Miso Soup

Black pepper goes well with miso soup of broccoli or sausage.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Fish sausage 80 g
Broccoli 8 florets
Onion 1/4
Black pepper A pinch
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the fish sausage and onion into proper sizes. Divide the broccoli into small florets.
  2. Boil the fish sausage and onion in the dashi stock. After the ingredients are cooked, add the broccoli and boil for a moment.
  3. Dissolve the miso and serve the miso soup in bowls with the black pepper sprinkled.

Black pepper gives something new to ordinary miso soup.
