Black Miso Soup

This miso soup with totally black ingredients is packed with nutrition.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Nori (Dried laver) 4 g
Kuromame (Black soybeans) 40 g
Kajime seaweed 120 g
Black sesame 4 teaspoons
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Boil the kuromame until tender. Cut the kajime seaweed and nori into proper sizes and place in bowls together with kuromame.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and dissolve the miso.
  3. Pour the miso soup of 2 into the bowls. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the black sesame sprinkled.

★ A Note

Boiling the ingredients in miso soup makes their color dirty. Pour in miso soup just before serving.
