Sea Snail and Green Onion Miso Soup
This is a miso soup of sea snails living on the rocky shore (isomono).  Their shells also give a good dashi.
 
 
Ingredients (4 servings)
| Isomono sea snails | 20 | 
| Konegi (Thin green onion) | 4  stalks | 
| Dashi stock | 800 cc | 
| Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |

Directions
- Chop the konegi finely.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the isomono sea snails.  After the isomono is cooked, add the konegi and boil for a short time.
- Lower the heat and dissolve the miso.  Serve the miso soup in bowls.

Various isomono sea snails are available from region to region.  If you find any at a supermarket, try this miso soup.
