Dumpling Skin and New Burdock Miso Soup
Crunchy bacon, crispy new burdock and chewy dumpling skins (wantan-no-kawa). Enjoy and taste these different textures in this miso soup.

Directions
- Pan-fry the bacon until crispy and cut to 1-cm width. Cut the new burdock into thin sticks of 5 cm in length. Cut the wantan-no-kawa to 1-cm width.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil, add the new burdock, bacon and wantan-no-kawa and cook.
- Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

Savory bacon increases the umami (good taste) of the other ingredients in this miso soup.
