White Miso Oyster Chowder
Milk makes the umami (good taste) of nutritious oysters into a mild taste.
 
 
Ingredients (4 servings)

Directions
- Wash the oysters quickly with water.  Cut the daikon radish, carrot and potato into thin quarter slices.  Cut the bacon to 1-cm width and mince the parsley.
 
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the daikon, carrot, potato and bacon.  After the ingredients are cooked, add the oysters and dissolve the miso.
 
- Add the milk.
 
- Serve the miso soup in bowls with the minced parsley sprinkled.
