Chinese Cabbage and Sausage Miso Soup

This is a Western-style miso soup of Chinese cabbage and Vienna sausage.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Chinese cabbage 2 leaves
Vienna sausages 4
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Chop the Chinese cabbage into smaller pieces and cut the Vienna sausages diagonally into pieces.
  2. Boil the Chinese cabbage and Vienna sausages in the dashi stock.
  3. After the ingredients are cooked, lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

★ A Note
A good dashi seeps from Vienna sausages if they are cut into pieces.
