Juicy white bok choy (shirona) is accompanied by savory thick deep-fried tofu (atsuage) in this miso soup.

Atsuage | 1 cake |
Goshiki-arare (5-color rice cracker bits) |
1 tablespoon |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Cut the atsuage into proper sizes. Boil the shirona for a short time and cut it to 2 ~ 3-cm length.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil, add the atsuage and shirona and boil for a moment.
- Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the goshiki-arare sprinkled.
