Onion and Broccoli Western-style Miso Soup
Black pepper goes well with miso soup of broccoli or sausage.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Fish sausage | 80 g |
---|---|
Broccoli | 8 florets |
Onion | 1/4 |
Black pepper | A pinch |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Cut the fish sausage and onion into proper sizes. Divide the broccoli into small florets.
- Boil the fish sausage and onion in the dashi stock. After the ingredients are cooked, add the broccoli and boil for a moment.
- Dissolve the miso and serve the miso soup in bowls with the black pepper sprinkled.

Black pepper gives something new to ordinary miso soup.
