Red Onion and Mulukhiya Miso Soup
This miso soup is an easy way to enjoy mulukhiya, the king of summer vegetables.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Red onion | 1/2 |
---|---|
Mulukhiya | 1/2 bunch |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Pick the mulukhiya leaves and scald them. Slice the red onion.
- Boil the dashi stock with the red onion. After the onion becomes tender, lower the heat and dissolve the miso.
- Add the mulukhiya and boil for a moment. Serve the miso soup in bowls.
