Ham and Potato Miso Soup
Celery adds a flavor to this miso soup of ham and potato.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Ham | 4 slices |
---|---|
Potatoes | 2 (medium) |
Celery leaves | A few |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Cut the ham and potatoes into quarter slices. Chop the celery leaves coarsely.
- Boil the ham and potatoes in the dashi stock. After the potatoes are cooked, lower the heat and dissolve the miso.
- Serve the miso soup in bowls with the celery leaves on top.
★ A Note
If your children hate celery, you can use another green or yellow vegetable, for example, broccoli.
