Fresh Scallop and Bracken Miso Soup
Enjoy the good combination of savory fresh scallops and tasty and nutritious bracken (warabi) in this miso soup.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Fresh scallops | 4 |
---|---|
Warabi | 40 g |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Cut the fresh scallops into proper sizes. Boil the warabi and cut to 3-cm length.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the fresh scallops. After the scallops are cooked, add the warabi and boil for a moment.
- Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

The white scallops and seasonal warabi in the miso soup are appetizing.
