Bracken and Grilled Tofu Miso Soup
Grilled tofu (yakidofu) is firm-textured and absorbs tastes well. This is a miso soup of yakidofu and bracken (warabi), a spring wild plant.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Yakidofu | 1/3 cake |
---|---|
Warabi | 80 g |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Cut the yakidofu into proper sizes. Boil the warabi and cut to 3-cm length.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil, add the yakidofu and warabi and boil for a moment.
- Lower the heat and dissolve the miso. Serve the miso soup in bowls.
★ A Note
Since yakidofu is firm, it is easy to cut and cook.
