Taro and Cod Miso Soup

Cod tastes light and fluffy. Winter is the best season to enjoy it.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Taros 2
Cod 2 filets
Tomyo (Pea sprouts) Several sprouts
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Peel the taros and cut into quarter slices. Cut the cod into proper sizes.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the taros and cod. After the ingredients are cooked, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the tomyo on top.

★ A Note
Cod filets are soft and easy to break. Treat them gently.
