Chinese Cabbage and Chicken Miso Soup
Chinese cabbage is sweet in the hard part. Enjoy Chinese cabbage in season in this miso soup.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Chinese cabbage leaves | 2 |
---|---|
Chicken thigh | 100 g |
Mitsuba (Japanese honeywort) | A few pieces |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Cut the chicken thigh into proper sizes and slice (like shaving) the Chinese cabbage.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the chicken thigh and Chinese cabbage. After the ingredients are cooked, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
- Serve the miso soup in bowls with the mitsuba on top.
