Okra and Grated Yam Miso Soup
Both okra and grated yam are gooey and full of nutrition. This miso soup is good for fatigue in summer.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Okra | 4 pods |

Yam | 200 g |
Aosa (Sea lettuce) | 1 teaspoon |
Sobanome (Buckwheat sprouts) |
A few |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Boil the okra in salt water and cut into round slices. Peel and grate the yam.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil. Dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
- Place the yam in bowls and pour the miso soup of 2. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the okra, aosa and sobanome on top.
★ A Note
Yam is less easily browned if soaked in vinegar water.
