Asparagus and Japanese Ginger Miso Soup

This miso soup is full of flavors of the earth.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Asparagus 4 spears
Myoga (Japanese ginger) 2
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the asparagus diagonally into pieces. Shred the myoga and soak it in water.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the asparagus. After the asparagus is cooked, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the myoga on top.
