Chopped Okra and Ginger Miso Soup
Nutritious okra is good for summer heat fatigue.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Okras | 8 |
---|---|
Ginger | A small piece |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Boil the okras with salt and chop them into small pieces. Slice the ginger thinly like needles (into hari-shoga).
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil. Dissolve the miso and boil only for a moment.
- Place the okras in bowls and pour the miso soup of 2 over them. Serve the miso soup with the hari-shoga on top.
★ A Note
Slimy okras have vivid green. Sliced okras look cute in the miso soup.
