Potato, Onion and Bacon Miso Soup
Children enjoy sweet new onion and fluffy potato in this miso soup.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Onion | 1/2 |
---|---|
Potato | 1 |
Bacon | 2 pieces |
Konegi (Thin green onion) | 2 stalks |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Slice the onion. Cut the potato into half circles and the bacon into proper sizes. Cut the konegi to 2 ~ 3-cm length.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the onion, potato and bacon. After the ingredients are cooked, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
- Serve the miso soup in bowls with the konegi sprinkled.

Bacon adds a good taste to this miso soup.
