Green Peas and Boiled Fish Cake Miso Soup
Colorful spring ingredients, with carrot as a touch of color, will cheer up your dining time.
Ingredients (4 servings)
Green peas | 40 g |
---|---|
Hanpen (boiled flat fish cake) | 1/2 piece |
Carrot | 1/2 |
Dashi stock | 800 cc |
Miso | 3-1/2 tablespoons |
Directions
- Cut the hanpen into 1-cm pieces and the carrot into sticks.
- Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the green peas and carrot. After the ingredients are cooked, add the hanpen, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
- Serve the miso soup in bowls.

The miso soup is appetizing with white hanpen and vivid green peas.
